Recently Jackson Kayak has undergone a rebranding to Jackson Adventures. Basically, this puts all of the Jackson products under one roof (Blue Sky Boatworks, Orion Coolers, Orion Kennels, Jackson Kayak, etc). Thatís all well and good but what does this mean for consumers? Along with a new website (jacksonadventures.com
) there are a few additional perks available now and on the horizon.
First off, you can now order kayaks directly off the website and get them shipped to a dealer near you for pick-up. This means not relying on what the dealers have in stock limiting you to what you can purchase.
Secondly, financing will be available soon. Always wanted that pricey kayak but donít have the cash up front? Now youíll be able to pay as you go without taking a huge chunk from your wallet right off the bat. Besides, you need that money for other fishing gear.
Thirdly, new content will be available specific to your preferred discipline. For us, it will mostly be fishing but Iíd wager that there are a few others into whitewater and other general recreational uses.
This is also just the beginning. Around the corner will be a new customer facing program with further details coming out in the near future. Besides that, Jackson has been working on a ton of new products that are soon to be released. Of the new products I am mostly excited for the next generation of the Flex Drive, the Flex Drive E (motorized flex drive), and the new Bite FD ($2200 pedal drive kayak). There are also other kayaks being released such as the Yupik, Zen, and Kilroy HD which might be more your taste.
As you can see there are a lot of new things coming down the pipe. Christmas will be here soon so take a look at what Jackson Adventures
has to offer and get those lists ready!
