This lake Granby area fishing report is brought to you by "Fishing with Bernie."
The lakes in the area have ice and people are walking and riding on them. Be aware of the pressure ridges and cross them with caution. Grand Lake and Willow Creek are fishing very well for rainbows in 6-10' of water. Willow Creek is also fishing well for Kokanee in the river channel. Wolford has a few spawning kokanee biting in 4-10 feet of water. The lakers in Granby and Williams fork are biting well in 30-80 feet of water. The trout in north park are still eating about anything you drop as long as you fish it above the weeds.
Bernie Keefe guides for lake trout, kokanee, rainbow trout and brown trout in the Lake Granby Area and is an expert in both fishing and teaching techniques for catching big lake trout in regional waters.
