T-H MARINE's HydroWave™ and the Cabela's Collegiate Bass Fishing Series Partner for the 2016 Season
Cabela's Collegiate Bass Fishing
The HydroWave™ is a patented electronic sound device that emits the natural sounds of bait fish and predatory fish feeding on them. Together the sounds produce an instinctive response in nearby predatory fish such as largemouth bass that can hear the sounds and feel the vibrations of the sound waves in the water. By doing so, the fish are drawn in the direction of the device eager to strike any bait it finds. When used on a boat, this device is intended to give fishermen a considerable advantage in catching a greater number of "keeper" fish.
Gene Eisenmann, founder of HydroWave™, stated that "since the inception of our company, we have been involved with collegiate bass fishing. Everyone at HydroWave™ has a passion for developing the next generation of fishermen, and the collegiate fishing is the undisputed platform at the collegiate level." Eisenmann went on to that "we haven't found this level of quality in outdoor entertainment or events anywhere but the Cabela's Collegiate Bass Fishing Series™ and we are proud to say that HydroWave™ has been involved with collegiate fishing since the beginning of our existence."
Jeff Huntley, President of T-H MARINE, which purchased HydroWave™ in 2015, stated, "We are excited to continue supporting the Cabela's Collegiate Bass Fishing Series™. T-H Marine is very involved in many grass-roots fishing tournaments, and this one is really special. We think that nothing is more important than growing the college and youth participation in our great sport of fishing."
HydroWave™ will be awarding prize units to students throughout the year at various events, including the nationally televised, Cabela's Collegiate Big Bass Bash Presented by Berkley. The HydroWave™ prostaff will also be participating in activities at these events to help educate students on the benefits, as well as the operation, of HydroWave™ units. In addition, collegiate anglers competing in any event in the series are eligible for discounts on purchasing a Hydrowave™ unit and more information can be found by visiting the Discounts and Incentives page on the Collegiate Bass Championship Website.
"We're happy to have the continued support of HydroWave™," said Wade Middleton, Director of the Association of Collegiate Anglers and President of CarecoTV. "I've been fortunate to have used a HydroWave™ since its release and students are interested in all the cutting-edge technology in fishing, and HydroWave™ has proven to be pioneers in their field. We look forward to having HydroWave™ onsite at the events and to continue growing our businesses together. Our anglers will be excited to learn more from their team, not to mention eager to get their hands on anything that could help them beat a rival college."
