Pro Angler Korey Sprengel brought a two-day total weight of 75.04 lbs to win the Cabela's National Walleye Tour event at Sturgeon Bay, WI. The victory includes a prize package worth $73,233, complete with a fully-rigged Ranger 1860 Angler plus cash. The win, coupled with his victory at the NWT season opener at Red Wing, all but clinches the Lucas Oil Angler of the Year award for the up and coming pro.
On the Co-Angler side, Harry Miller clinched the first place prize with a two-day total weight of 73.31 lbs.
The third and final NWT regular season event on Lake Michigan at Sturgeon Bay featured 262 anglers. As promised, the NWT delivered an unprecedented payout, with numerous boat and engine contingency prizes available to competitors. Anglers now set their sights on the three-day, entry fee Championship, scheduled for September 19-21 at Devils Lake, North Dakota.
