Getting there:

From Red Bluff, take Hwy 36 east for 44 miles to Hwy 89. Continue east on Hwy 36/89 to Lake Almanor and the next junction with Hwy 89. Turn right on Hwy 89 and drive about seven miles to Butt Valley Road. Turn right on Butt Valley Road.
