Pyramid Lake is an artificial lake formed by the Pyramid Dam, near Castaic, California. Pyramid offers boating, fishing, jet skiing and picnic areas. The fishing has been known to be really good with Stripers reaching up to 40 pounds here. This lake offers one of the few places to go and catch Striper, Largemouth, and Smallmouth all in one day.... From CA DWR: Pyramid Lake is accessible via Interstate 5 at the Smokey Bear Road exit (Emigrant Landing).
