General Details:

Shaver Lake is a recreational lake surrounded by pine forests, providing boating, camping, hiking fishing as well as other water activities such as skiing, jet skis, and windsurfing. There are six different species of fish in Shaver Lake, a mix of both cold and warm water. A public boat ramp, maintained by Fresno County is at the North end of the lake. Getting there:

From USFS: Take Hwy 168 east from Clovis to Shaver Lake. Continue on Hwy 168 through the community of Shaver Lake to access the lake and SCE Camp Edison.
