Several 15 plus lb. Bass have been taken from Dixon, with the addition of trout to this lake the Bucket mouth's have record growth rates, foraging on the young bows. No private boats allowed, however there are some available for rent from 10-25 dollars. Camping is allowed and reservations can be made 7 a.m - 4 p.m Monday - Friday. Picnics are allowed... Getting there:
Driving from Hwy. 15 in Escondido California, head east on W. Mission Ave. Turn left on N. Citrus Ave. Make a left on El Norte Pkwy. Take a right at La Honda Dr. Arrive at Dixon Lake.
