Just 15 minutes south of Mammoth Lakes, Crowley Lake is primarily known for its fishing opportunities. In addition to the trout that it has, there is a huge population of perch introduced in the 60's. Crowley serves as a getaway without the busy waters of a lot of the other attractions like Mammoth. Getting there:
Traveling from Whitmore Hot Springs: Head northwest toward Benton Crossing Rd. Take a right onto Benton and then a right onto Owens Gorge Rd. About a mile down the road you will take another right to Lake Crowley.
