General Details:

Salt Springs Reservoir has rather primitive camp sites with no water, and only 22 sites. There are however no fees to camp here and both tents and RV's are allowed. The fishing here is home to many local Bass clubs and club tournaments. All Bass are catch and release. From USFS: 38 miles east of Jackson on Highway 88, 8.5 miles south on Forest Road 92 (Ellis Road), and then east on Forest Road 8N50 (Salt Springs Reservoir Road).
