Not generally known for big fish, Trinity Lake's last big fish was a 9 pound Small Mouth Bass in 1976. Mostly used by Bass fisherman, Trinity also boasts excellent hiking opportunities and an awesome variety of wildlife. Horseback riding and river rafting are also popular in the area. Getting there:
Traveling from Redding California, head south on Market St. toward Shasta St. Take a right at Shasta street. Make a right onto California street, and then a near immediate left onto CA-299 W/Eureka Way. You will continue on the 299 for approximately 29 miles where you will make a right onto Trinity Dam Blvd. Travel around 8.5 miles and make a right to stay on Trinity Dam Blvd. Your last turn will be a slight right onto Fairview Marina Dr. Arrive at Trinity Lake
