A local paper is reporting that low water levels at Clear Lake has forced the closure of three of the launch ramps in Redbud Park.
It also says that three other ramps are still open but boaters need to be careful using them.
It seems that the ramp is not necessarily the problem, but that the docks are not made to adjust enough for the lower water level and are not usable. They are too high and dry.
Ironically, the station that water collection trucks use has also been closed. That's one way to help stop the level from dropping!
