@Mr.B Lake Isabella is traditionally a trout lake, although it can also produce some nice fish of other species during the spring and summer. Our calendar lists an event March 31st at the lake. The trout derby they are holding has some really nice prizes both cash and material. This event is held annually. Current conditions for the lake are listed where you visit each lake individually.

Yes it does, thank you my friend. Its been awhile since I've been there, and the only experience I have with its fish was when my brother was bitten on the nipple by an unknown species. I'm curious as to why this sites page says the next Largemouth record could be caught there. I'd assume California has lots big ones in a lot of lakes..
Well, California does have a lot of lakes with a lot of big ones. Not sure myself why it says the next big one could be caught here. But sometimes the most sought after species take all the attention, leaving the other species to grow without being caught. Seems to me though that any California lake could have the next big one.
