How is the fishing?

I'm taking a trip down to San Diego in a couple weeks. Curious if this lake would be worth stopping by if I got the chance while in town?

Welcome to southern California. You from up north or out of state.

Murry not a bad place to visit. Water temperatures are on the rise and it won't be long before the trout start heading deep and the warmwater fishing picks up. Popular area so expect a lot of company, especially as a shore angler. Fun to visit.

Me I concentrate much of my efforts fishing the surf for perch right now. Light trout gear works great for them also. So don't overlook that opportunity.

Thanks much for the Info! I didn't get to bring the fishing gear as I am an out of stater... Colorado angler here! I may try to get a hold of some light gear and go after the perch. I've never done any saltwater fishing but I'm watching some guys out in the bay right now and its giving me the itch!!
