The Tahoe Truckee Fly Fishers is a non-profit sportsman group dedicated to promoting the sport of fly fishing and protecting the trout rich waters of the North Lake Tahoe area. Founded in 1984, the Tahoe Truckee Fly Fishers is a club for all anglers who care about the places they fish, want to learn more about the art of fly fishing and improve their skills and techniques. From guided fishing events, summer BBQ’s, youth programs, and fly fishing equipment rentals to a line up of fabulous guest speakers at each of our monthly meetings, the club has a lot to offer for such a small donation.

Recent accomplishments have included:

• Special Regulations for the Truckee River
• Signage of CDFG special fishing regulations for entire Truckee River Watershed
• Advocacy for better land use management improving wild trout habitat on the Little Truckee River
