We are a group of Christian bass fishermen dedicated to serving the Lord as “fishers of men” (Matthew 4:19), bringing Christian bass fishermen together in fellowship, ministry and service. As we fellowship and support one another, we have the opportunity to enjoy Gods creation, reach out to others and serve those in need.

It is our goal that this organization will be a way to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ with fishermen, extending them the call to be, “fishers of men” in all aspects of their lives. We hope to provide an atmosphere that will bring further knowledge and growth in the Christian walk, while learning fishing skills and sharing them with others.

WCCA members volunteer at the Ventura County Rescue Mission (VCRM) serving meals. Once a month, we also sponsor and host a “Graduation Celebration Fishing Trip” for the men who complete the VCRM 9 month Residential Recovery Program.

We have a “Regular Membership” that provides a tournament forum to bring us together to enjoy the fellowship and competition. We also have monthly member meetings where we invite guest speakers to provide the attendees with the latest fishing techniques.
