We are a non-profit organization dedicated to the support and conservation of native fish and their environment. The members of DVFF promote the awareness, art and skills of fly fishing, fly tying, catch and release practices, and related activities.
The DVFF organization exists to serve its members through club activities including instructional sessions, skills seminars, fishing outings, guest speakers at regular meetings (see the next meeting's speaker), an online forum, and fund raising activities, such as our annual auction.
The club also sponsors a scholarship for research in Fisheries Biology and/or Riparian or Limnetic Ecology by a student of the UC Davis College of Agriculture and Environmental Sciences, Center of Aquatic Biology and Aquaculture.
Anyone interested in fly fishing is eligible and welcome to become a member of the DVFF.
