June Lake
The headliner lake for the June Loop, June Lake is an eastern Sierra icon with a lot of tradition and some big trout. Generations of families spend opening day here, rain or shine, snow or sun.
Silver Lake (June Lake)
Just an hour's drive from Yosemite, Silver Lake offers good trout fishing with access to boat rentals, general store, restaurant, cabin rentals and more.
Grant Lake
Grant Lake is the largest of the four lakes on the June Lake loop. It is fed by Rush Creek and offers quality browns and rainbows. As the only lake in the June Loop without a resort attached, it can often be a sleeper many pass up.
Rush Creek
Rush Creek finds its beginning high above the June Lake Loop. It travels to the valley floor flowing into Silver Lake. It then makes its way from Silver Lake to Grant Lake offering great creek fishing as it gains momentum. It soon emerges as a tailwater coming out of the Grant Lake Dam as it makes its way across Highway 395 before flowing into fish
