Fall Brookies

Spent a few hours with Austin and my wife up on the Mesa. Hiked back into a lake I know has some pretty fish and was not disappointed.

Seems that the mad rush of people is over. Had the lake to ourselves and was amazingly beautiful and quiet. Well other than the splashing of fish as I landed them.

Come on now. I doubt the rush of people comes close to Antero Reservoir. But it's nice when the crowds weed out when it's too chilly for em!

FishnHunt - the Mesa was CRAZY this summer. Like I have never seen it up there. Literally every camping spot taken by every Friday afternoon. Just a mess

Definitely the prettiest fish anywhere, Terry. Maybe my favorite spot in the whole world. Glad you and Austin could get up there again.
