San Cristobal Ice

I'm planning a trip to Lake City December 6-8. I've been watching the weather and it's been COLD up there. I'm just wondering if anybody knows if San Cristobal has Ice yet? Any info would be awesome!!!

Haven't heard, and it would be great. With all the changes going on right now we sure can use the conditions reports

I talked to the local sporting good store in Lake City. They said it gets skim ice every night but that it's blowing off during the day. Shouldn't be too long now...I Hope!

I emailed Lake CIty's tourism department and they emailed me back that as of yesterday morning the lake is 1/3 capped. The part that is capped is not safe.
