Aquilla Lake

Aquilla Lake is located 35 miles north of Waco. Completed in 1982, the reservoir supplies water to the cities of Dallas and Fort Worth and provides flood control. Additionally, it provides excellent fishing for largemouth bass, crappie, and catfish.
