Lake Lyndon B. Johnson (LBJ), Marble Falls Texas - Lake Lyndon B. Johnson (LBJ) impounds the Colorado River near Marble Falls and was completed in 1951. This generally clear reservoir holds a good population of largemouth and Guadalupe bass. The Llano River sees good runs of white bass in the spring. Angler’s can also enjoy one of the better crappie populations around, as well as abundant catfish

Getting there: To boat ramps per TPWD:

Wirtz Dam/Cottonwood Ramp - Located on the south shore near the dam. From Marble Falls, take FM 2147 to sign on right

Kingsland Lions Park - Located on the Llano River arm, north side of the lake. In Marble Falls, take FM 1431 west to Kingsland and turn left on RR 2900.
