Getting there: From TPWD http://www.tpwd.state.tx.us/fishboat/fish/recreational/lakes/lavon/access2.phtml#areaa boat ramp access:

Twin Groves - Located uplake on Twin Groves Creek. Take US 380 east from Mckinney, go about 12 miles and look for park entrance to the north, before crossing bridge.

Caddo Park - Located uplake on the east shore. Take US 380 east from McKinney, go about 14 miles and look for signs on the north side designating park entrance

Elm Creek - Located uplake on the east shore. From US 380 in Farmersville, take Texas 78 south 3.25 miles and look for park entrance on west side of road.

Lakeland Park - Located mid-lake on the east shore. From US 380 in Farmersville, take Texas 78 south 4 miles and look for park entrance on west side of road.

Tickey Creek -
Located on the west shore of the east arm of the lake. Take FM 982 south from US 380 in Princeton. Go approximately 3.5 miles then turn east on FM 3364 in Culleoka. Park is about half a mile down on the right.
