Lake Austin fishing report
Post By: Dave Mauldin      Posted: 6/22/2012 8:19:01 PM     Points: 155
...ventured out to Lake Austin with Mr. Brown Wed evening, to fish an evening trny with the TTZ boys....Water temps are up to the mid 80's mid lake, with grass a little higher above city park, with little grass below city park.
We had an unusually cloudy/windy day and afternoon, and the guys that had been catching 'em did not, including me!
The fish did their usual Lake Austin MOVE pattern. Some wacked 'em but many regulars were confused.
The deep fish must have moved shallow during the cloud cover.
Congrats to Robby and Mike, who figured them out.
Any one else know what happened that day?
As usual, we had less than pleasant experiences with rude pleasure boaters. They must hate fishermen

Excellent information - useful and to the point! I have to agree about pleasure boaters, what time I spent in a boat on a lake fishing was nearly always plagued by them. Seems they get their jollies harassing people. Something about being anonymous makes a lot of people act braver than they really are. See that in cars a lot too.
