Biography:

Hi, My name is Jc Gwynne. I am a professional full time Guide on Lake Amistad, In Del Rio Texas. I was raised in Del Rio. The son of a guide on lake amistad, I was given the opportunity to spend evry waking moment on a 70,000 acre lake bass fishing. After graduation, I joined The U.S. Army and served 4 yrs in feild artillary. when I returned home I begin to fish the tournament circuits around Texas full time for about 7 yrs, It was a great time but I found I got more pleasure in meeting and fishing with new people every day and sharing all the knowledge I have gained after 30yrs of Bass fishing than chasisng trophys. I assisted the Texas Park and Wildlife in studies conserning fish conservation, On my off time I travel to give Bass and Conservation seminars to several Bass clubs around the state. I am also currently assisting in creating new youth programs to teach future anglers to preserve and manage our great resources. Over the years of working in this industry, I have had the privelage to work with some great sponsors like Sure Life, Bayou outdoors, Doybns Rods, V&M soft plastics, Hags Tornadoes, Ezee Jigs, S.O.B. Spinnerbaits, and River street Lodge. These companies have been great to me over the years and assist me in showing the clients a great fishing experience. I guide year around, and I currently devote all my attention to staying on the fish, as well as perfecting and developing new techniques to capitalize on all Lake Amistad has to offer. I no longer fish tournaments and do not guide on any other lakes in the area. I choose to devote all my efforts to provide my clients with a learning and productive day of fishing this great lake. The reward of seeing a smile on a new anglers face as well as the shaking his/her hand after a seasoned bass fisherman has landed his biggest fish to date. This provides me with all the excitement and reward I need to feel successful.
