The ATX Bassmasters organization is Central Texas' newest addition to the list of storied B.A.S.S. Federated Chapters. The club holds meetings once a month at the Threadgill's on Barton Springs Rd on the first Tuesday of every month at 7pm.

The club's Top Six Anglers at the end of the year will be sent to the B.A.S.S. State Federation Championship to represent the ATX Bassmasters, and will also compete for a chance to move their way up through the ranks to possibly fish in the coveted "Bassmasters Classic."

The club will hold an annual Bassmaster Casting Kids Competition to help promote and introduce the sport of fishing to the youth of Central Texas. The ATX Bassmasters will hold two 2-Day tourneys on lakes that are voted on through a majority vote by the club.

If you are interested in competing in a club that promotes friendship and sportsmanship, we're the club for you. Who knows, fishing with the ATX Bassmasters just might present the opportunity for you to go head to head with the likes of Kevin Vandam, Shaw Grigsby, Denny Brauer, Skeet Reese, Jay Yelas and other idols/legends of the sport of bassin'.
