Q&A with Bass Cat Boats owner, Rick Pierce, Part 3
by: Dave Mauldin 6/25/2011

Dave: You have spent your life designing, innovating, and building boats. Those of us in the field

who fish out of them daily consider it our “office”. Having a total performance boat, that

we can depend on for safety and performance is obviously most important. We thank you for what

you have done and continue to do. We continue to count on you!

Rick: Thanks Dave! You know how dedicated we are to bringing evolutions to the bass boat market. The raised and in dash LCR’s and depth finders on to the recess and grab post are really neat stuff. We don’t plan on quitting there and the new Margay will breach into a different area than we have been in before. The coolest part is the R & D we do with and for other companies. That is just plain fun stuff as we get the opportunities to develop products we see on other brands of boats and not just ours. The Pro XS series is pure gratification every time we see one as that started here with the 225 Pro XS.

Dave: Rick, it’s been a pleasure, and thanks for taking the time to help inform our audience.

If someone wants more information where should they go?

Rick: Go to www.BassCat.com.  And we can get you where you want to be. Hit the contact or brochure button and the advertising agency will take it from there forwarding it to where you need it to go. They do a really good job!  One of the neater sites is the Owners Board there where they all meet in a forum and it acts as our Owner’s Manual. In just over six (6) weeks from now we will have our dealer meeting for 2012 and we will introduce the new stuff we have been working on like the new Margay and a few other little things we are about ready with. That is the only total new product for 2012.

Thanks for the opportunities!

Rick Pierce
