Hello, My name is Darryl Roach and I am one of many great Field Editors on this website. I would like to welcome all of you to Fishexplore.com/Tx. I am very excited with what this website has to offer to anglers all over Texas. It dont get any better than this! I have been bass fishing all my life. Ok, almost all of it. I kinda got a late start, but at 8 years old, I found my passion in life. BASS FISHING! I have been a competative tournament fishmen for over 12 years. There came a point in my life where fishing just wasnt fun anymore, but I still had that desire. I wanted to do something that made fishing fun again, so I decided to start guiding. But I wanted to do even better than that. I wanted to teach the novice anglers to become better fisherman. I also wanted to get more women and children into fishing. Well, I believe I found my nitch. I get more joy teaching and watching women and children catching fish. Now if I could just get my wife to fish, I would have it made. The next time you get a chance, take your wife or kids fishing. you never know what kind of impact you can have on their life.

I have had the pleasure of both fishing with darryl as well as calling him a friend. You will not find a nicer guy in the industry. He is pretty patient and loves to teach others the sport of bass fishing. having spent some time on squaw creek with him I can say that is a great fishing experience for those who love to catch some strong bass and alot of them!
