Biography: Gatorjoe, known to the rest of the world as Tony has lived his entire life in Colorado. He grew up in westminster and attended Standley Lake High School as well as both the University of Northern Colorado and Metro State College of Denver. When he was just a small kid he spent his summers on family camping and fishing trips at places like Green Mountain, Georgetown, Leadville, Standley Lake, and a few others. He grew up as the son of a trout snob so his first 14 years were spent as a trout fisherman. After a 7 year hiatus he decided to get back on the water and learn as much as he possibly could. In the past year he has learned how to target LM bass, and to fly fish for everything from trout to carp to sunfish and bass. Not a master of any discipline he prides himself on learning more every single day and is constantly seeking out more information. He also refuses to use bait, likes light tackle, and is a big proponent of slot limits for keeping fish. He hopes someday to make an impact on the world of fishing, be it as a tournament angler, a guide, a DOW officer, or to run his own fishing shop complete with friendly customer service and lots of fish stories. For now though, he's more than content to just learn and learn and fish. He is fortunate in that if the weather is halfway decent he can get out anywhere from 3-7 days a week for at least a couple hours everyday. And no, that is not his dog....he's a dog trainer.
