HOLLY, Colo. - Boys, girls, moms, and dads interested in learning more about fishing are invited to attend a free one-day fishing clinic at the Mid West Farms gravel pit between Granada and Holly on Oct. 17.

"This is a great opportunity to learn how to improve your fishing skills and have some fun," said Linda Groat of the Colorado Division of Wildlife.

Activities include a day of fishing and professional instruction from DOW volunteers and staff. The DOW will furnish the equipment.

Boys and girls (accompanied by a parent) are invited to attend from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. There will be a cookout lunch, a chance to try fishing with fly fishing equipment, and prizes for the youngsters.

To register or get more information, call Linda Groat at 719-336-6608.
