Windsor Lake offers a wide variety of recreational activities. Both motorized and non-motorized boating including belly boats are allowed on Windsor Lake. Boating permits are required for all boats on the lake, including hand launched craft. Be sure to check the official Windsor Lake website for the latest fees and times. Windsor Lake also offers kayak, paddle boat, and canoe rentals from the end of May through the end of August. The swim beach is free. However, swim at your own risk as there is no lifeguard. Over two miles of trails around the Lake provide for easy, pleasant walks.

With numerous warmwater species and trout, the lake is great for shore fisherman that can easily access the entire shoreline of the lake thanks to the walking trail. The lake receives regular stockings of rainbows, providing good trout fishing. Additionally, other varieties of species are, or have been, stocked such as catfish and bass. Fishers need to be aware that catch and release rules apply for all species except trout and carp, as these are Windsor regulations, they do not show in the CDOW fishing regulations, but are applicable nonetheless.

Boat Ramps
Windsor Lake Ramp East
This ramp is concrete and is the better of the two for launching larger boats. The ramp to the west is too steep and is usually used for smaller hand launched boats.
Windsor Lake Ramp West
This concrete ramp is steep and is mostly used for launching small boats. The ramp to the east less steep and much easier for larger boats to launch from.
