Evergreen Lake, Evergreen Colorado - Evergreen Lake is a great getway destination for the shore fisherman. The lake is continually stocked with tiger muskie and rainbows throughout the summer.
Evergreen Lake is a small but productive lake in the foothills outside of Denver. Fishing is allowed from sunrise to sunset with both live bait and artificial lures. Evergreen Lake has boat rentals available at the "Lakehouse". This facility is open to the public and available to rent for special occasions. There is a 1.5 mile path around the lake and a picnic area with grills along the shore near the parking lot. During the winter months, Evergreen Lake is a popular ice skating venue. Tiger muskie have been introduced in this lake and is becoming one of the main standouts for metro muskie hunters.
Getting there: From Denver, take I-70 west to the Evergreen Parkway exit. Head south on Evergreen Parkway to Upper Bear Creek Road. Fees: $4 daily or $30 seasonal charge for private boats. Boating: Electric Motors Only. Gas powered engines are not allowed on the lake, only electric trolling motors are permitted.
The lake will be open for boat rental seven days a week. Please call ahead to book a large group. Private boats are allowed on the lake from sunrise to sunset with a daily or seasonal pass. All hours are weather-permitting.

The lake only allows boats using electric motors and the ramp is really not a ramp accessible for boats other than 12-14 foot row boats that you can pull off a trailer into the water. You are allowed however to back your trailer into the water.
