Went out last Sat. Between 12:30 and 4, we caught 68! No lie, we were counting/competing :). Of course all were thrown back. What a great time.

Sounds like you had a great day!
May I ask which pond you fished? I may have my daughter go fishing with me this weekend.
Thanks!

When I need fish for food Vrain is the way to go. I like Sandpiper Pond. Every time I go it is non stop fish. Bluegill and Bows about equal. Usually bows on bottom. Blues on top. Frequently you can pull a fifty plus day on those ponds. Most other ponds around the state I C&R sometimes due to the lake being dirty. City Fishing!!! That Shopping cart might make a good structure to fish around. But I imagine the fish at vrain are safe to eat being as how they fill it up with stokers as soon as we pull em out.

MeatHead, sorry for the delayed response. The holidays got the best of me. I was using salmon eggs tipped with mealworms. I only saw the other groups pull two out, so they must have been using something else.

DJ, dont worry, we're talking bows here.

and... now i see you were asking which pond. oy. long day. Sandpiper. We usually try to hit Pintail or Coot as they are a little bigger, but less in quantity. They had the camping roped off over there, so we changed plans.
