Fished the north west side of antero today. 2pike and i arrived at 8:30 after a great breakfast at Bailey. Wind was mild. We fished with slip bubble rigs with red, yellow and orange powerbait. by 9:45 2pike had caught and released a 5pounder, a 4pounder and 2 2pounders. I had one 2 pounder. At 9:45 it seemed like the fish crawled out of the lake and followed the cows home, no more bites. At noon we moved i imediately caught one 2 pounder and a nice cutthroat about 1 1/2 pounds. then nothing else. we left at 2. It got very windy and to difficult to fish with the weed problem. Still a very nice day.
