MOST COLORFUL BROOKIE EVER!!!
Post By: brooktroutking      Posted: 11/2/2009 9:06:26 AM     Points: 270
Found this photo and thought I'd share it with all it deserves to be seen and not just sit in a stack. This is from the flat tops but an area that is known for its hunting not fishing stumbled on this little gem about 25 yrs. ago by my friend "Mooch" who is no longer with us bless his soul, caught this one in 93' after I had discovered that there were nice brookies in there. Always have this place to myself. Only seen hunters in the area. I know it's an old photo but there isn't any recent photo's of brookies being posted so if you don't want to see older photo's just say so and I'll quit posting them. This one was only 13" long but it wieghed 2 1/2 lbs. Beautiful spawn colors anybody have a more colorful one? Had a little bit of double exposure on top of pic but the fish wasn't double exposed. BTK

That is one great looking fish! Brookies are my favorite when it comes to colors. Not to rain on your parade, but check this puppy out. World record brookie from Canada. It's glowing with color like your buddies.
