The panfish at Boyd are awesome guys to catch. Most are smaller, but they all think they are sharks. A few of them are good sized fish, it's a matter of getting through the others. Glad you had a good time.

NIce fish king! We were trying to sniff out some crappie with jigs on the north end last weekend, but just came up with little perch.

CF King - Where do you get your waxworms this time of year - local or mail order? I would like to get some as well.

You can get your waxworms at pet stores also. Just give them a call before you head over, but most of the bigger chains (petsmart, petco) will have an assortment of grubs and worms you can purchase.

Great Fish! Sounds like a great time. Actually it made me really start thinking about panfish throught the ice this year! I heard it is going to be a very cold one so we should have a lot of time to target these crappies and perch through the ice this year!
