2012 Open registration for the Bass Pro Shops Bassmaster Open circuit continues

Anglers are registering for the 2012 season of the Bass Pro Shops Bassmaster Open circuit, through which event winners can earn a berth in the 2013 Bassmaster Classic.

The 2013 Classic site was announced last week as Grand Lake O’ the Cherokees out of metro Tulsa, Okla. To claim a Classic berth, event winners must participate in all three events within their Open division’s season.

B.A.S.S. Federation Nation and B.A.S.S. Life Members were invited to register online for the Northern, Southern and Central Open divisions starting Nov. 14 call-in registration will begin Thursday, Nov. 17. This registration period applies only to those interested in competing in all three events of a division.

For B.A.S.S. members, Nov. 28 is the first day to register online for all three events of a division. Call-in for the same group will open Dec. 1.

Online single-event registration is scheduled to be available beginning Dec. 5 call-ins for single events will start Dec. 8.
