What is the current water level/condition of Kenansville Lake?

With the dry spell all around Florida I expect the water to be fairly shallow it is normally about three feet average. The last report I heard there was a lot of hydrilla in the lake. Best bass fishing has been in the deeper waters along the canals. Remember it is catch and release for bass and it may be difficult maneuvering around the hydrilla.

Thanks hawghawler. I have a small boat with a 9.9 hp motor, so it sounds like I would have to stay in the canals, anyway. I already knew about the catch and release because I fished there a couple of years ago. At that time, I think that the water must have been higher, because I was able to snake my way around the lake, but I heard it was pretty much solid mat, now. I stayed at Lake Marion Paradise...nice place. Tight lines.

If you go let us know how it was and give us an update to the lake conditions, thanks and good fishing.
