Are we all crazy??

Ok, so this is my second attempt at a blog...last one didn't work for some reason.
I went out for a few hours fishing yesterday afternoon on my home lake The Tsala Apopka chain and started doing some thinking. The wind was blowing hard making boat positioning difficult. The sun that has been keeping us so warm over the last few weeks was hiding behind the clouds as the temperature dropped making it colder and colder. It was then that I realized I was in my glory.
When you consider all the time we bass fishermen spend on our sport, our passion, often times with nothing but our thoughts to keep us company. Our thoughts of where are they today, what depth, what type of cover, what lure will entice a bite, what color , what presentation? How is the current weather affecting them? Then suddenly we get that bite and it is Magic. It is our type of high. It's what we are out there for. Then when the fishing day is done we share our catches/ tips with friends, family or fellow fishermen on the dock because we just didn't get enough.
With the water temperatures yo yo-ing up and down this year bass have been difficult to find consistently. Where last year this time 20, 30 or more fish a day was normal on a rattletrap I can't even get a bite on them now. I keep throwing it expecting each cast will turn them on like last year as in my head I am thinking about what to cast next.
I will not speak for the other bass fishermen out there, I will let them speak for themselves, but, Yes I Am a little crazy.
See you on the lake

Great job, I know what you mean, sometimes you just have to change up a little.
