Biography: I am Sean Early, I am a Colorado Native. I started fishing with my dad when I was 5 years old. We fished Chatfield and Cherry Creek. Later in life I began to fish seriously and it has taken over my life. Recently I had my first child so fishing has slowed but I always seem to find time to head out.
I live in Westminster and am employed by Colorado Department of Corrections as a Sergeant at the Denver Correctional Complex. When I am not fishing I enjoy big game hunting, and spending time with my family.
I love every type of fishing. Ice fishing my favorite, but during the spring and summer months I compete in BASS Tournaments. I still like trout fishing, but I am very competitive and it's a great way to learn new tactics! I recently put away the fly gear and focused on conventional tackle. One day I will use flies and fly rods again.
My favorite places to fish are: Tarryall, Antero, Dream Stream, 11 Mile, Spinney, Granby, Grand Lake, and Pinewood.
Every year I choose a different species to target, for 2015/2016 ice season my target species are: Pike and Walleye.
