The Connected Lakes Section of James M. Robb/Colorado River State Park Re-Opens
The Connected Lakes Section of the James M. Robb/Colorado River State Park has re-opened because the river’s water level has receded and the flooding has ended.

CLIFTON, Colo. – The Connected Lakes Section of the James M. Robb/Colorado River State Park has re-opened because the river’s water level has receded and the flooding has ended. In early June, the Colorado River flooded the road and pedestrian trail in the Connected Lakes Section of the park. Water flows in the river have dropped and most facilities and trails in the park are open to the public, said James M. Robb/Colorado River State Park Manager Peter Firmin.

Please check the “conditions” page on the park’s website, www.parks.state.co.us/Parks/JamesMRobbColoradoRiver for updated information. Park staff will monitor the Connected Lakes Section and other areas of the park, said Firmin.
