Fry-Ark 50th Anniversary week KICKS OFF!

Next week something very exciting happens: The Fryingpan-Arkansas Project turns 50 years old! To kick off the anniversary week, take a peek at a teaser from the commemorative film, 50 Years of Golden Benefits.

We, and our partner on the project, the Southeastern Colorado Water Conservancy District, have also updated our Fry-Ark websites to commemorate the event (and provide the latest in water operations):

Be sure to stop by Lake Pueblo State Park and the Visitor's Center a week from Saturday, August 18, for a day-long celebration of the Fryingpan-Arkansas. There will be speakers, displays, screenings of the new film, free pontoon boat tours of Pueblo Reservoir, and free tours of the Pueblo Fish Hatchery below Pueblo Dam.
