Hi All,

Next week something very exciting happens: The Fryingpan-Arkansas Project turns 50 years old! To kick off the anniversary week, take a peek at a teaser from the commemorative film, 50 Years of Golden Benefits.

We, and our partner on the project, the Southeastern Colorado Water Conservancy District, have also updated our Fry-Ark websites to commemorate the event (and provide the latest in water operations):

http://www.usbr.gov/gp/ecao/pueblo/pueblo.html

Be sure to stop by Lake Pueblo State Park and the Visitor's Center a week from Saturday, August 18, for a day-long celebration of the Fryingpan-Arkansas. There will be speakers, displays, screenings of the new film, free pontoon boat tours of Pueblo Reservoir, and free tours of the Pueblo Fish Hatchery below Pueblo Dam. More information on the event day is attached, or you can visit our newsroom to see the news release.

Have a great weekend and I hope to see you a week from tomorrow at the Celebration Event!

Best,
Kara
