Green Mountain releases go back up
7/4/2012

The weather continues to remain hot and dry and flow in the Colorado River continues
to decline. Additionally, Wolford Mountain Reservoir releases have had to cut back
for some maintenance work. With all these factors in mind, it was determined on the
weekly conference call this morning (held early because of the holiday tomorrow),
that releases from Green Mountain Dam to the Lower Blue should go back up.

As a result, we bumped releases up twice this morning: once around 7 a.m. from 320
to 350 cfs and then again at noon from 350 to 420 cfs.

The 420 cfs release will stay in place at least through Independence Day.

Have a great Fourth of July!
