Waterton Canyon three-day closure

Waterton Canyon<http://www.denverwater.org/Recreation/WatertonCanyon/> will be
closed to public access from Tuesday, June 26, through Thursday, June 28, for annual
maintenance work. Neither the parking lot at the canyon's entrance nor the canyon
will be accessible during this time. Waterton Canyon will reopen at 7 a.m. on
Friday, June 29.

"We apologize for the inconvenience, but the work is necessary to reduce the amount
of dust on the canyon road, which will make the recreation experience more enjoyable
for the hikers, bikers and runners who use the canyon," said Kevin Keefe,
superintendent of source of supply for Denver Water.
