Barr Lake State Park welcomes Ram Nation volunteers on March 10
CPW News Release
Brighton, CO -- Spring is just around the corner, and Barr Lake State Park will be welcoming the season with a spruced-up picnic area, thanks to the help of Ram Nation volunteers. From 8 a.m. to noon on Saturday, March 10, the Ram Nation team of 15-20 volunteers and 4-5 trucks will help enhance these popular gathering spots within Barr Lake State Park.
Ram Nation volunteers will be assisting the Barr Lake State Park team by planting trees, installing timbers to better define picnic areas, and adding gravel under and around each picnic site.
“We’re excited to welcome the Ram Nation volunteers to help us with our version of ‘spring cleaning’ this year,” said Michelle Seubert, park manager at Barr Lake State Park. “The change of seasons means more people planning outdoor gatherings with their friends and family. These improvements will make Barr Lake an even better place for people to come out and spend some of that quality time this spring.”
Truck owners have a strong sense of community and willingness to give back. They have a natural instinct to lend a helping hand to family, friends and neighbors when needed – thus, Ram Truck launched Ram Nation. Ram Nation makes it easier for Ram owners and dealers to come together and give back to their community through service projects and disaster-relief efforts. Truck owners interested in answering future calls to help, whether it’s mobilizing volunteers to assist in disaster relief efforts or proactive community outreach initiatives, can sign up for Ram Nation at https://www.ramtrucks.com/ram-nation.html
