Getting there: From Colorado Springs, take U.S. 24 west for 55 miles over Wilkerson Pass. Turn south on Park County Road 23 and drive 2.8 miles to County Road 59. Turn right and continue another 1.1 miles to the park entrance.

Boating: All Boats Allowed. Strong winds are common at Spinney and the bigger the boat the better.
Special Regulations: The park is a day-use park only, opening one half hour before sunrise and closing one hour after sunset. Camping is available at nearby Eleven Mile Res. Ice fishing prohibited. Fishing is prohibited just below the dam. Gold Medal Water. Artificial Flies and lures only. Bag and possession and minimum size for trout is 1, 20 inches long. Bag and possession limit for northern pike is unlimited. No minimum size restriction.
