Arrived early at GMR today and found that I did not have my auger attachment with me, I thought I had left it at home. After calling myself several bad names, I decided I would use my ice spud and open up some older holes. As I was getting ready to head out, 2 gentlemen arrived and inquired about the ice conditions on the part of the lake we were at. I told them I had been on the ice Monday and it was good then, I then told them I was planning on checking the ice with my spud bar as I moved to my fishing spot, and they were welcome to follow me. I mentioned my auger dilemma and they volunteered to pop some holes for me We got to the spot and spent the day catching our limits of lakers, no biguns, but plenty of future meals. I had a great day fishing with new friends and even catching fish! As the daylight waned I started back to shore. As I was walking up the trail I had used Monday, I noticed my auger attachment placed where I could find it. I was pleasantly surprised that some good Samaritan had found the auger, that had fallen off my sled unnoticed, and had placed it where I could find it WOW, that made the day even better!! Thank you whoever you are, and if I can identify you, you have a reward coming! If anyone has info on who the GMR Good Samaritan is please PM me or post it here. Thanks!

You saying you lost the drill part of your auger and someone returned it, if so you have good karma. I bungee everything down now in my sled, I need to buy a net to secure things. I travel light and only use a jet jr. So the thete is no ice at the boat ramp on the big green campground side.
