Started at Stanley Res yesterday. As soon as I get there the wind and rain started. While I was there met a Fish Explorer member John... Nice to meet you John! We both moved to the Westminster area and have been hitting some of the local ponds. I told him about the ponds on 104th and 76 area. I have been trying all these ponds in the area and targeting bass. John and I headed to Elaine T. Valente ponds. we fished for about an hour. John was about to head home and I just threw out my last cast when my line took off! At first it felt like a 5 pounder! until a second later I realized a carp took my 7" Power Worm. After 20 min or so we finally landed the carp. it was 31.5" Oh ya and I was supposed to be home at 6:30pm so I wouldnt get an ear full from my G-Friend! I was late! sorry babe I chose a carp over you j/k

Yes, I was there and Thanks Adam for showing me a few spots. This was one of the impressive catches because it was caught on a bass jig! go figure! But I witnessed it and help land it and took the picture. the only fish I caught was a 4 inch bass on 4 inch lure! It was fun.

Nice catch! Thats a master angler there isn't it? I often wondered if there was anything in there. Good to know! Any idea what else might be in there?

Nice job! I was there too that day, but I was on another pond.

West Spratt Platte has some monsters that size too, just not as many.
