Wellington #4 2/2/08

Fished from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on southside about a third of the way from west side. Ice seem to be thinner from 2 weeks ago, it was about 6 - 8" in spots other spots still a good 12". Constant small perch action, I mean small, 3-5" and a few 8" on small chartreuse jig head tipped with wax worm. Hard to hook the perch, so small mostly stole my wax worm.

Two 13" cutbows landed between two of us, same jig and bait as above. Rainbows hammered it while deadsticking and perch prefered a slight jig then pause. All fish caught near bottom in about 5-6 f.o.w.

Fish Crazy,
Same here. I was on the East Side by the dam. Caught a 12" cutbow almost right off the bat, then we didn't have anything for a long time.
Towards the end, around 1500, we were getting some perch bites, but didn't hook anything. It was really slow.
Feel free to update the lake conditions if you visit any of the lakes in the FE database.

Fish On,
