An Eye for an Eye
Post By: Estes King Fisher      Posted: 9/24/2012 8:37:36 PM     Points: 0
Second post on this FORUM, still getting used to it. Previously I needed some Trout ID, and mentioned my passion for EYES!

I am completely overjoyed and happy to have moved here, the only thing that worried me is a possible lack of good fishing, since there is much less water here...

I have found a few reliable spots to catch trout any day in Estes, so I am all set there, probably going to search for Kokane as well, but this post is for WALLEYE! I have been fishing for them all my life and the week before I moved here, good ol' New York gave up a GEM! 30" 10lbs, currently being mounted as a replica for camp back in NY.

My question is, where (from shore) can I catch some Large Eyes within an hour or so from Estes??? Thanks!

Chads right! Ive caught lots of walleyes at boyd all year long. Lots of 20s one 30". Carter is great! ive caught a lot of 30"s there. This 31" 8 to 10 lbs was from last friday. the second was earlier in the year and was only 24 or 25".

What's up with all the Estes Park guys using "King Fsiher" in their user names?
